What Exactly Are Peptides?

Found in all living things, peptides are naturally occurring molecules that are very effective at assisting in weight and fat loss along with muscle building and recovery. Similar to protein, peptides are short chains of amino acids, the building blocks of muscles. Peptides do not have as many amino acids as protein, but play a key role in collagen and elastin production and are essential for healthy-looking skin.

You don’t need to become a triathlete to use exercise to enhance your peptide results. You will, however, need to take some steps to ensure optimal outcomes.

It is recommended that adults aim for at least 150 minutes of moderate-intensity aerobic exercise or 75 minutes of high-intensity aerobic exercise weekly. This can include walking, swimming, yoga, group sports, and anything else that gets the heart pumping. Aerobic exercises should be joined by at least two days of muscle-strengthening activities each week. This can include weight training, nautilus, Pilates, and anything else that improves strength.

How Long Should I Take Peptides to Help See Results?

It may take up to 12 weeks before results from peptide therapy are noticeable and another three months before improvements in muscle mass and increased weight loss are noticeable. However, many people report an increase in energy, improved sleep, and other, more subtle changes within just a few weeks.

After maximum benefit has been realized, you can continue peptide therapy as needed to help ensure continued results. Natural and safe for long-term use, peptides therapy can be ongoing as needed.
